From loss to livable.

This home was heavily damaged by fire, leaving behind more questions than answers.

As Architect of Record, our role wasn't just to redesign what was lost.
It was to understand what remained, navigate what could be saved, and bring everything back together the right way.

Projects like this require more than drawings.

We're always focused on capturing what's actually there–now we're expanding how we do it.

We're beginning to integrate drone capture with Gaussian splatting, turning aerial imagery into detailed, navigable 3D environments.

This helps us fill in the gaps where traditional scanning can struggle–rooftops, elevations, and hard-to-reach areas–so clients get a more complete picture of existing conditions.

Still early, but the direction is clear:
Better capture = better decisions.

One of the things we're reminded of again and again in this work...every building has its own story.

Today in Arkansas, we had the opportunity to scan a property where the existing conditions didn't fully line up with the drawings provided. It happens–and its a great moment to pause and make sure everyone is working from the same, accurate picture.

That's where we come in.

Using our Matterport Pro3 scan, we're able to capture the space as it truly exists and provide clear, reliable as-built data for the entire team.

It's all about helping projects move forward with confidence–and supporting the people behind them.

For a recent project, the goal was to restore the original front entry portico. Using archived photos, we rebuilt it–both digitally and physically–to bring that vision back to life.

This model became more than a representation...it became a tool for clarity.

When stakeholders can clearly visualize intent, it's far less likely that meaningful design elements get "value engineered" out.

Another beautiful day in Fort Worth, doing what we do.

Today's project was one of those reminders that good buildings start long before the first shovel hits the ground. Capturing spaces accurately – the terrain, the context, the details – makes everything downstream smoother for architects, engineers, and builders alike.
