The remnants of Hurricane Polo are headed our way. The National Weather Service is calling for 2–5 inches of rain Wednesday through Friday, with some spots getting even more.
Heavy rain finds every weak spot on a roof: lifted or cracked shingles, worn flashing around chimneys and walls, and dried-out seals around vents and pipes. A small gap today can mean a ceiling stain, wet insulation, or mold next week.
