⚡ Hello Neighbors! ⚡
It's the team at Electrician On Call – Electrical & Cooling Specialists.
With all the recent rain this morning, we're seeing a significant increase in calls from homeowners whose outlets suddenly stopped working in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, patios, and other damp areas and also whole home power outages.
Before scheduling service, try this first:
✅ Locate the GFCI outlet (the outlet with the TEST and RESET buttons)
✅ Press the RESET button firmly
✅ Check nearby outlets to see if power has been restored
Many times, moisture and humidity can cause a GFCI to trip, and a simple reset solves the issue.
📱 Need help? Text us 24/7 at (469) 754-8374.
When you text our team, please include:
• Your address
• A brief description of the issue
• A photo of your electrical panel
• If possible: The panel photo helps us identify breakers and troubleshoot much faster.
🚨 WHOLE HOME POWER OUTAGE?
If your entire home is without power, contact your utility delivery company first before scheduling electrical service.

Not sure who your utility delivery company is?
1️⃣ Look up your ESID (Electric Service Identifier) by visiting this website:
https://electricityplans.com/texas/esid-lookup/
2️⃣ Enter your property address.
3️⃣ The results will display your utility delivery provider (such as Oncor), which is the company responsible for restoring power to your home.
💡 Remember: If your neighbors also have no power, it's often a utility issue rather than a problem inside your home.
Stay safe & stay dry!
