Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM US Central Time (1-hour break)
Compensation Bonus: Receive a performance bonus for every successful hire after the new hire completes their 90-day probation period.
We are seeking a highly motivated, disciplined, and resourceful HR & Recruiting Manager to lead and establish a high-performing HR and Recruiting Department. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s growth by attracting top talent, implementing solid HR systems, and ensuring the success and retention of team members.
The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the U.S. online talent market, creating compelling job ads, and utilizing recruitment platforms to find high-performing candidates. This position demands strong leadership, critical thinking, and organizational skills, as well as a passion for professional and personal growth.

Purpose of the Role
The HR & Recruiting Manager will work closely with leadership to
achieve the following objectives:
Rapid Recruitment: Identify and hire strong candidates quickly for all positions to support business growth.
Streamlined Onboarding: Establish a comprehensive onboarding process for all roles to set clear expectations and ensure employee success.
Job Documentation: Document responsibilities, tasks, and detailed job descriptions for all roles to ensure quick replacements when needed.
Performance Management: Set KPIs for each role and create bonus structures tied to performance, including end-of-season bonuses for sprinklers and lighting teams.
Talent Pool Development: Maintain a pool of pre-vetted, high-performing candidates ready for immediate hiring.
Team Growth: Expand the team to support increased sales and operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Pool Development
Take ownership of sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent across all business roles.
Create compelling job ads to attract high-performing candidates.
Leverage recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook Hiring Place, Indeed, and other job boards effectively.
Develop a structured hiring process to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Build and maintain a pool of pre-qualified candidates for immediate and future hiring needs.
Onboarding and Employee Development
Design and implement a comprehensive, streamlined onboarding process for all roles.
Provide clear deliverables and expectations for each role during onboarding.
Research and define what success looks like for key positions, such as Sales Manager, and set timelines for performance milestones and reviews.
Performance Management and Compensation
Develop a company-wide compensation growth ladder, including KPIs and bonus structures, to attract and retain high-performing employees.
Track and analyze weekly KPIs for all roles to measure and drive performance.
Create end-of-season bonus plans for the sprinklers and lighting teams to reward excellence.
HR Administration and Compliance
Document all responsibilities and tasks for each role to create clarity and operational continuity.
Conduct weekly time audits to identify inefficiencies and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Use tools like Monday.com and Hubstaff to track, manage, and improve task performance and time utilization.
Handle sensitive HR tasks such as write-ups and terminations professionally and in compliance with labor laws.

Strategic HR Leadership
Partner with leadership to align HR and recruiting strategies with business objectives.
Transition HR responsibilities from leadership to independently manage the department within 60 days.
Develop the company’s official Playbook by documenting all HR and recruiting processes, including SOPs and training videos.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in HR management or recruiting roles.
Expertise in navigating the U.S. talent market and using recruitment platforms effectively.
Strong skills in creating compelling job ads and recruitment campaigns.
Experience with onboarding, performance management, and employee retention strategies.
Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com and Hubstaff for task and time management.
Highly resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
Professional-level English speaking and writing skills.
Comfortable with a high-expectation role critical to the company’s success.
Strong leadership capabilities with a direct and firm management style.
