We changed out and painted all of the rotten trim boards on this chimney today.. Since it was sticking up about 10' ft out of the roof above the second story, it was necessary for us to set up the scaffold.. I swear, it's more difficult setting up, and then taking down the scaffolding, than it is to do the actual job.. Lol Anyways, we did a very professional job fixing the leak, and the home owners were super excited.
This job was in Plano, Texas. We do a lot of chimney repairs out here, mainly because in the 90's and early 2000's, builders were building soo many houses, soo fast, ( cookie cutter houses/ track homes) that they weren't able to consistently use quality materials or workers.. When you drive through Plano, Tx, if you look at the houses on either side, you will notice that almost every chimney needs some kind of repair, and a paint job...
