Please, please replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors then reset the system once a year. If the units were manufactured 9-10 years ago, they have expired and should be replaced.

Praying that everyone recovers. This tragedy could have been prevented. 😢

Very important safety reminder if you use a space heater this weekend. In addition to the risk of fire, overloading a circuit may cause the breaker to trip and fail to reset. A breaker that won’t reset must be replaced to restore power to the circuit. Stay warm AND safe this weekend!

❄️Cold weather reminder:

✅Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet and turn off when you leave or go to sleep.

❌Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension cords. Using an extension cord with high wattage appliances can start a fire.

✋Keep anything that can burn at least 3ft from heating equip (furnace, fireplace, wood stove, portable heater).

We are expecting an influx of patients this weekend. Donations on this post will go towards their care. Thank you!
