UPDATE: Chris reminded me that the ink comes back when it gets cold. I took his advise and put the notepad in the freezer and my notes are back! I'm thrilled and a little uneasy at the same time ~ like, is this some kind of spy thing? I've seen spy movies. 😂

Note to self: when taking notes for a new pattern, maybe don't use a FriXion pen; but if you do, do not, I repeat, do NOT sit your hot iron down on your notepad. 🙃 🤓

This was a fun quilt to make. The clients absolutely loved it! They requested for it to have the "crinkled" look - so no pre-washing. The washing came after it was complete. I generally quilt free motion or freehand pantograph and occasionally custom ruler work. My heart is full that they are happy. 🥰

Well, this quilt top maker didn't trim the threads on the backside. I don't like that. Usually I will just quilt it as is. But . . .
It was me. I'm the quilt top maker. I will trim.

The community quilt was a hit at the Liberty and Lace Ball. I'm so proud of all the sewist who came together to make this quilt come to be. Some of them had never even sewn before.

Whew, all the blocks are together in sections (A-Z). Now on to putting the sections together!
