Moss Utilities We specialize in wet utilities installation for multi-family, commercial, and public works construction projects. Please contact us for your next project.

The Moss family has a legacy of experience in the utility construction industry here in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex dating back to the early 1900's. If you live in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex, there is a good chance your subdivision has utilities installed by a member of the Moss family. While the history behind the Moss family and our experience in the utility industry is lengthy, we understand today's world has changed. We must always be improving and advancing forward in the way we do things. While times might be different, we understand the need in today's world to create and foster long and mutually beneficial relationships with our customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. This is an "old school" mentality which can still be executed today more than ever. We will be there for our customers and employees when they need us and we aim to treat them like members of the family. Before you can talk horsepower, burnouts, and track-ready performance, you have to build the foundation that supports it all. We’re officially in the dirt in Denton, Texas, laying the groundwork for the Summit Racing Equipment warehouse. Just like dialing in a championship race car, commercial site development comes down to precision, raw power, and zero margin for error.

Huge shoutout to our operators, pipe layers, and field leadership on-site in Denton for keeping the project running on all cylinders, hitting production targets, and keeping jobsite safety in pole position every single shift.

"Nothing comes easy. Stay down for the come up."

If you've spent any time on the jobsite with Fernando, you've probably heard him say it.

An Oak Cliff native with 12 years in construction, Fernando started out as a laborer. He worked his way up by mastering heavy equipment and running a loader before bringing his experience to Moss as a foreman over a year and a half ago.

Outside of work, family comes first. Fernando spends as much time as he can with his two daughters and son, usually with his favorite band Midland playing in the background. Driven by a constant desire for growth, Fernando is a great leader, and we're proud to have him guiding our crews in the field.

In 1852, settlers digging a water well in North Texas uncovered a mystery buried deep below the surface. They discovered a massive stone wall that would give the city of Rockwall its name. That historic find proved that the identity of this community has always been tied to what lies beneath the earth.

Today, our crews are proud to carry on that legacy from the ground down. We are currently hard at work at the new Rockwall Medical Center, installing the underground wet utilities that will keep this vital healthcare facility running safely and reliably.

Building the future starts with inspiring the next generation! Yesterday, the Moss Utilities team joined the TEXO Foundation Build Texas Proud Expo to connect with local high school students and educators.

If we want to keep the skilled trades strong, we have to show young people what these careers can truly offer. We spent the day sharing what we do, answering great questions, and giving students a firsthand look at the underground utility industry.

Huge thanks to the TEXO team for organizing an incredible event. It was a fantastic turnout, and we are proud to help support the future of our industry.

Before the sun comes up, Derick is already on the road making sure our field crews have what they need to get the job done. From Rhome to Turkey, he delivers the tools, equipment, and supplies that keep our projects moving across Texas.

For Derick, working at Moss comes with a strong family connection. His parents and brother work in the shop and office. Spotting familiar faces between delivery runs is easily one of his favorite parts of the day. Off the clock, Derick is a proud dad to three daughters. His favorite way to unwind is family movie night on the couch with popcorn.

When asked what message he has for the rest of the crew, Derick kept it simple, "Don't rush anything. Be careful, and get home safe."

Thank you for your hard work, early mornings, and dedication every single day. That is what Moss Fuerte is all about.

Lake Texoma is a testament to the ingenuity of the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Constructed between 1939 and 1944, the Denison Dam brought much-needed flood relief to the Texas and Oklahoma border by impounding the Red River into the reservoir known as Lake Texoma. At the time, it was the largest rolled-earthfill dam in the world and set the standard for dam construction for decades to come.

We're honored to continue developing this land, laying down the utility infrastructure that will bring Preston Harbor, Lake Texoma's newest waterfront community, to life. Stretching over 3,000 acres, this project called for the big guns. With one PC490 already hard at work, we've just brought in a SK850 for reinforcements. We're proud to be part of a development that will welcome visitors to enjoy the beauty of lake Texoma.
