🧡💙🩵 Today is North Texas Giving Day, and I want to put in a word for two organizations that mean a lot to us: Denton County Basic Services (DCBS) and Interfaith Denton.
We have volunteered with DCBS on the Denton water project and we’ve stocked the food pantries, so we've seen up close how many of our neighbors they help get through hard months. And with Interfaith, Dawn donated a piece of art for their fundraising auction, and our business, Aaron's Air Conditioning, has serviced their AC unit. Two very different ways of showing up, but both orgs are doing steady, unglamorous work that keeps people housed, fed, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
If you're deciding where to give today, we can vouch for both of these. Every dollar goes further than you'd think. Links in the comments.
