I can’t believe this happened today! What a Friday… 🤦‍♂️

We share the good days, but we’ve got to share the tough ones too. Today’s concrete mix had too much gravel for the 2-inch line we were using, and it kept causing blockages throughout the hose.

We cleaned out the hose and the concrete pump, then tried again—but the same thing kept happening. We had to send the truck back and wait for a mix suitable for our 2-inch line.

Frustrating? Absolutely. But this is part of the reality of concrete work. Every pour comes with its challenges, and today was no exception.

Early morning concrete pour! 🌅

In this project, we poured a 23' × 28' concrete slab, 4 inches thick, reinforced with fiber, and finished with a smooth surface. We also installed a 6-mil v***r barrier underneath the slab to help protect it from ground moisture.

With the right equipment and experience, just two of us were able to operate the concrete pump and place the entire slab. We started very early in the morning to stay ahead of the high temperatures and give the concrete the attention it needed for a quality finish.
