Kitchen Remodels don’t have to be scary. Here are a few tips to start preparing for your remodel this year:
•CREATE your budget
This can be done by knowing your homes value. On average you will spend between 5-15% on a kitchen remodel
•GATHER inspiration photos
Go ahead and create a visual/digital board using any favorites you’d like to have in your new kitchen
•TAKE photos and measure current kitchen
This is important because it’ll help maximize how much space can be used for new cabinet layout and you’ll have “before” photos
•SET appts to meet with contractors
Research social media, websites, ask friends and family about their experiences. Also, ask for references from any potential contractors of previous clients. Create a list of questions to ask

I read something recently that said, “…when you’re a small business owner all you really have to gauge your “success” is the money you make and customer reviews”
And I agree wholeheartedly with that. It warms our heart at the trust that is given when we are chosen to remodel any part of your living space. But from one business owner to another - peace of mind and having enough free time with your loved ones is even more important. So as the year-end approaches, reflect on how you want to be better available for your loved ones and yourself.

Hi there! Gustavo & Patricia here - your fave remodeling duo. 😉 This photo captures us perfectly. I always thought I was the funny one but it’s definitely Gustavo.
He’s hilarious 😂
Anyhow, I figured I’d share some cool things about us on this post. Gustavo tells me about how he would’ve loved to become a pilot✈️ He also has this crazy passion for welding 🔥 which is what he studied in San Luis Potosí and became crazy good at it. As for me, I always thought I would become a grade school teacher. Instead I taught adults. And now I am working up the courage to complete my real estate exam - I have taken all the courses but the market is overwhelming. We both want to purchase our 1st investment property by end of year 🙌🏼

Long story short, the world is here for you to take what you want from it. Set BIG goals and push forward.

Happy 5 year Anniversary to RDeZigns!
It’s been one hell of a ride! There are so many adjectives that can describe this entrepreneurial journey. And the added bonus is doing it with your spouse! These 2 simple photos bring a great deal of emotion to me…but I cannot find the words to express HOW it makes me teary-eyed. Gustavo is an incredible being and if you have had the chance to have him work in your home you may know that. I’ve watched him be challenged, successful, stressed and even incredibly grateful. He’s the risk-taker in our marriage and I am sure to keep him level-headed. We want to say thank you to all of you who believed in us from the beginning and even now. For believing in our team and always trusting us even when the projects are difficult. We strive to produce quality work and will continue to do so.

Gustavo loves building all things with Camilo, our 5yo. They use this as a past time or we sometimes will gift a new one when Camilo does well. It amazes me how this fundamental skill of play encourages math and problem-saving but allows for so much creativity. To you it may seem boring so I’ve listed 5 FUN facts as “conversation-starters” 😆

💡 it is more fire-resistant than plywood
💡no water is used to install (hence the name)
💡prototype was patented in the early 1800s, “invented” in the early 1900s
💡should not be installed in wet areas - not moisture resistant
💡it can be painted over (in whatever hue you like!)
