Met with this couple a few weeks ago, they are in need of a walk in shower, we are waiting on VA approval but will need additional funding to make this transition. If you are interested in helping out this veteran please let us know.
There is no access to the bathroom with a walker or wheelchair as the doors are 24”.

We are looking for anyone who would like to donate funding to help with repairs to a very deserving individual. She has lived in Rowlett for years, has donated countless hours to multiple organizations over the years. She has been dealing with multiple health issues since she was 23yrs of age, that has continued to progress over the years. She has multiple repairs needed at her home, including, paint, wood repairs, garage doors repairs, chimney repairs and so on. She now spends her days in doors most times, or at doctors appointments. She has been living this life for the last 36 years and sent me this.
"My symptoms have worsened over the years, so my life is spent going to doctors appts and paying doctors bills. Due to my health, I physically, nor financially, can do the repairs my house desperately needs. I watch as it deteriorates around me, not knowing what I’m going to do. As I am writing this, I am sitting here in tears, because my future is very scary and overwhelming. I do as much as I can to help myself, but I am running out of hope and my health is declining. Please help me save my house. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for anything you can do to help me. "
