Heads up to all local contractors demolition guys,and dirt crews in the Dadeville/Lake Martin area. There is an active overpayment check scam targeting excavation businesses using an Arizona number (480-853-2599) and a fake Gmail handle ([email protected]). They will ask for sight-unseen house demolition bids and try to overnight a fake check inflated by an extra $20,000 for a mystery mobile home pad. Do not hand over your bank data or fall for it. Be aware and protect yourself and your business. If you want to see screenshots of the messages I got just pm me and I will send them to you.

What makes a Mother a Mother? Being a mother is not just about the 9 months of pregnancy or giving birth to the baby. Yes that was hard work and yes it changed your body and well everything about you. However the work of a mother had just started at that point and the work of a mother is never finished. Whether you gave birth to your children, you became a bonus mom to a child by marrying their father, you adopted a child and gave them the love they deserved, or your child was born sleeping or you miscarried you are all a mother. A mother is a woman who gives unconditional love and support to the children in her life. She's there for moral support and teach them right from wrong. She's the one who is normally the one called when one of her children has a bonehead moment and ends up injured ( thank you momma for taking care of my dumb decision injuries). Dads have their special place in a child's life as well but mothers are the ones who hold down the fort while dads are doing what they need to do to provide for their families. Today we celebrate our Mother's and or Grandmother's. Thank you for always being there for us and believing that we have potential to do anything we put our minds to. Happy Mother's day! ( Yes this was written by Erin and yes my mother was the one who always doctored my injuries because I made bonehead daredevil decisions as a kid so yes she deserves an award)
