Two bathrooms. Two very different sets of goals.

One, a warm rustic-contemporary renovation focused on creating a comfortable, timeless space through thoughtful materials, proportions, and detailing.

The other, an ADA-focused bathroom completed for a VA grant recipient—where accessibility, safety, clearances, and ease of use were every bit as important as the finished appearance.

That range is something we genuinely enjoy at Wozniak Builders.

Every project brings its own challenges, and our process starts with understanding how the client needs the space to function, then working through the design, details, and construction to arrive at the right solution.

Whether the priority is design, accessibility, functionality—or a combination of all three—the goal remains the same: thoughtful planning and craftsmanship that serves the people who use the space.

Different projects. Different challenges. Same attention to the details that make the finished product work.

Sometimes it's the details beyond the home that make the biggest impact. A pergola isn't just a shade structure—when it's properly proportioned and thoughtfully crafted, it becomes an anchor that elevates the entire property!

Framing complete—but one of the most important phases of the project is just beginning.

Before plumbing, HVAC, and electrical crews arrive, we intentionally pause construction for a comprehensive walkthrough with our clients.

✔️ Cabinet layouts are chalked directly onto the floor so clients can physically experience the spaces.
✔️ Kitchen, built-in, fireplace, and other feature elevations are posted on the corresponding walls for full-scale visualization.
✔️ Niches, shelving, trim details, and specialty framing are reviewed one final time.
✔️ Every required blocking location is verified before drywall.
✔️ Lighting, switches, receptacles, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical locations are marked and fine-tuned together.

By investing this time now, every trade begins with complete clarity. Questions are answered before they become change orders, and the finished home reflects thoughtful planning—not last-minute compromises.

A well-built custom home isn’t just about quality materials. It’s about creating the time and process to make the right decisions before the walls are closed forever.

At Wozniak Builders, one of the most rewarding parts of what we do is embracing the challenge of designing and building a variety of architectural styles. Whether we’re creating a warm Cottage Farmhouse, bringing new life to the timeless Florida Cracker home, or crafting a well-proportioned Florida Mediterranean Revival residence, our goal is always the same: thoughtful architecture that feels authentic to its style.

Good architecture isn’t about following trends. It’s about understanding proportion, respecting precedent, and building homes that will still feel beautiful decades from now.

Most people see the countertops.

We see the details that make the entire room work:
• Cabinet proportions
• Consistent reveal lines
• Symmetrical appliance placement
• Island sizing
• Layered lighting
• Crown transitions
• Functional work zones

None of these elements stand out individually.

Great design isn't about just one impressive feature—it's about dozens of small decisions working together.

That's where timeless homes are created.

The Best Homes in 2035 Won't Look Like the Homes of 2020.

For years, the formula was simple: white board and batten, black windows, high contrast, minimal details. Modern farmhouse, everywhere. It was clean. It was classic. It was everywhere — which is exactly why it's starting to feel dated.
Designers and homeowners are shifting. The new goal isn't striking. It's timeless. Three changes we're seeing on the ground:

1. Warmer Palettes — Bright white and pure black are giving way to creamy whites, soft taupes, clay tones, and layered neutrals. Homes feel warmer and more connected to their surroundings, not stamped onto the lot.
2. European Cottage Influence — The reference point is shifting from the American farmhouse to the European countryside: natural materials, organic shapes, collected details, authentic character. Less perfect, more timeless.
3. Character Is Back — Functional shutters, dormers, stained beam headers, thoughtful trim. The homes people remember have depth — not just a clean elevation, but layers you notice the longer you look.
The takeaway for anyone building right now: if you design for 2026 trends, you're designing a home that looks dated by 2030. Warm palettes, natural materials, and real architectural character age well because they were never trend-driven to begin with — they're rooted in proportion and craft that's held up for a couple hundred years.

That's the lens we bring to every custom design at Wozniak Builders — building homes that feel right now and in twenty years.

Framing is where a set of plans becomes a home.
While finishes often get the attention, the framing stage is one of the most important parts of construction. This is where structural integrity, room layouts, window placement, roof geometry, and countless details are established.
The quality of the finished home is built on the quality of the framing beneath it.

Every great home begins with a vision.

This old Florida Cracker-inspired sketch is a reminder that thoughtful design happens long before construction begins. A professional architect plays a critical role in shaping not only the beauty of a home, but also its functionality, flow, and long-term success.

At Wozniak Builders, we’re proud to offer a licensed in-house architect thats brings ideas to life — thoughtfully, intentionally, and with purpose from day one.
