Thorough Prep Work Makes the Finish
A great paint job starts long before the first coat of paint goes on. 🎨
One of the details we pay close attention to is caulking cracks and gaps around trim—especially window sills, chair rails, and baseboards.
These areas can develop small cracks over time from normal movement, settling, or changes in temperature and humidity. If they’re simply painted over, those cracks can remain visible and eventually show through the new finish.
Our prep process includes:
* Inspecting trim and surfaces for cracks and gaps
* Caulking where needed for a clean, seamless appearance
* Filling imperfections before painting
* Properly sanding and preparing surfaces
* Applying the finish coats only after the surface is ready
The difference between a good paint job and a great one is often in the preparation.
