Thank you Shelbie and the Lakeview Kitchen Staff!!

Farm to School is on the menu today!

Students enjoyed fresh watermelon with lunch today! We love giving our students the chance to try fresh foods while making connections between the food on their trays and where it comes from. Watermelon served came from Ruppert Garden Produce in Currie, MN.

Well….Tomorrow Saturday September 19th will be our last farmers market. We have been attending markets for 19 years. We started with the Currie Farmers Market, soon followed by the Walnut Grove Farmers Market. Several years later we added the Marshall Farmers Market. We also have provided fruits and vegetables to 10 school districts in southwest Minnesota and a few restaurants. In the last few years as our children Haylee, Zach, and Katelyn have grown, graduated, and went to college, we have scaled down a bit and still attend the Marshall Farmers Market and provide produce to 7 school districts. We have LOVED providing local, fresh, and nutritious food to our friends, neighbors, and customers! Please come to the Marshall Farmers Market tomorrow Saturday September 19th and browse this awesome market, shop our stand, and give us a hello or a big hug! It’s never goodbye, it’s see ya later!! ❤️
