On December 16th, Extreme IFC is excited to present the first phase of the Poultry Science Lab at our State University. This project began under challenging circumstances when Extreme IFC was called in to provide a solution for a significant issue. This particular portion of the concrete pour was abandoned unfinished mid-pour, leaving behind a complex and difficult situation. By bringing our expertise to the forefront Extreme IFC was able to salvage the existing conditions and complete the work to the highest standards.
The project required exceptional attention to detail, particularly when it came to forming six specialized trench drains. These drains were carefully designed to be pre-sloped, ensuring proper drainage. Each drain also featured a rounded finish and was seamlessly integrated to the surrounding concrete, creating a cohesive, functional, and durable system. The concrete design allowed for a completely seamless resinous system from cove base to drain. Once the concrete work was completed, Extreme temporarily pulled off-site, allowing the other trades to complete their tasks before installation of the resinous flooring system. The precision and skill required for this intricate work demonstrated that only a highly specialized contractor like Extreme IFC could effectively address the challenges left behind and deliver the high-quality results required by the university.
Stay tuned for phase 2 of this project!

The seamless design features an 8” integral cove base paired with a cove flashing epoxy paste, creating a flawless transition from floor to wall. This eliminates potential bacterial harborage points, a critical concern in such sterile settings.
Throughout the project, our crew’s skill and attention to detail are evident in every aspect of the installation, resulting in a high-performance solution that exceeds industry standards. The precision and craftsmanship of the team speak for themselves, making this project a standout example of our expertise in creating hygienic, functional spaces.

Our goal at Extreme IFC is to provide customers with the highest quality solutions and products for their concrete surfaces. To us installing Floors is not just a job, it is our passion. We treat your floors like our own and install a product that you can be proud of. We understand that foundations are one of the more expensive investments in building a facility and it’s important to protect and enhance that investment. Whether it’s a chemical resistant coating in a harsh and nasty chemical processing area to a metallic coating in a high end office complex we strive to install with the same attention to detail and reliability for every customer and every job. We hope to become your solution for enhancing, preserving, and restoring your new and old concrete surfaces.
With continued investment into equipment, new installation tools, new technology, or training we push ourselves to stay on the forefront of the flooring industry. We are constantly researching and studying the most up to date equipment, methods, and products so we can provide our customers the most efficient, productive, and reliable service possible. If you have flooring needs we will help you achieve your desired results with the best installation practices.
We are here to help each customer find a solution by using the versatility of our background, knowledge, product options, and skills. Our background in concrete finishes started years ago in 2000 when the founder and owner Ed Gleeson navigated his way into decorative concrete. During this time we gained insight and knowledge into the different aspects of concrete chemistry, performance, install methods, mix variations, and troubleshooting. We continue to apply this knowledge to our decorative concrete and resinous floor installs today. Our ability to customize curbs, build forms, rebuild damaged and corroded trenches, and slope & pitch is built off our experience in the concrete sector.
After 7 years of serving customers with decorative concrete solutions Ed and his sons Edwin & Will branched out and began learning and installing Resinous flooring. During the recession Extreme turned its focus to resinous flooring as the decorative concrete market had slowed considerably. Working as a Subcontractor for one of the biggest names in the resinous industry Extreme IFC LLC has gained experience that many contractors never do. After installing hundreds of floors across the southeast we have acquired the knowledge and experience that allows us to create honest solutions for any customer. As a subcontractor we were put into projects and situations that many companies would avoid; however, through those struggles we were forced to create solutions and methods that we use today. Our solutions and recommendations are not only backed by manufacture guidelines, but by our years of hands on installation experience.
Through continued training and advancements in our equipment we ventured into the realm of polished concrete as an additional way to serve our customers. We are happy to complete your polished concrete projects as needed. We ensure that our polishing process follows proper protocols and doesn’t skip steps or rely on tricks to achieve a particular finish just to get paid. If you need a reliable contractor to polish your concrete you can count on us to follow industry standards and procedures.
We are a small family owned and operated business with integrity, reliability, and efficiency at our core. We pride ourselves in ensuring a quality product is installed from start to finish without short cuts or sacrifices leaving customers with a product that we can stand behind and be proud of. As a small business you will have direct communications with not only onsite personal but everyone involved in making sure your project is a success from sales, scheduling, installation, close out, floor care and maintenance guidelines, to accounting.
