This is a great example of why you should hire a qualified person. I feel terrible for this home owner getting taken advantage of by a contractor. These homeowners are very smart, extremely nice people that got taken advantage of by a malicious person in my honest opinion. I would post the contractors name but I will leave that up to the homeowner. This contractor should be reported to the state immediately. This list is only for 1 master bathroom.
So far we’ve found:
-open drain pipes
-pipes not glued
-pipes siliconed into place
-no venting for plumbing system
-did not re-attach water system to the hose bib, toilet, and shower for the cold side.
-installed hot water to both hot and cold sides of faucets.
-concrete in the shower drain
-incorrectly pipe sizing on the water and drainage system.
-fabricated plumbing fittings.
-shower drain not sloped to the drain.
