“Do what you love and you won’t work a day in your life.”

HVAC was maybe never a childhood dream of mine obviously 😅 but I’m sure glad I found it. What started as a job turned into something I genuinely enjoy doing every day.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished here at Airotron Inc. and even more proud of the work we get to do and the people we get to serve.

Sometimes you don’t find your passion — you find it along the way. 🔧❄️☀️

When people say, “They don’t make them like they used to,” well… that’s partially true.

Sometimes that saying gets over used as an excuse for a poor installation or repair but in this situation, this 1980s system is almost 100% original—right down to the capacitor.

This system is a true testament to the saying. Nearly 40 years later and it’s still out here doing its job. That’s impressive! 👏❄️

Many of our customers got to know KaTeM over the years.
This big knuckle head brought many a smiles to you all.
Today he was diagnosed with HSA cancer, that's a very aggressive cancer. On both sides of his liver and his spleen with multiple masses.
Please keep Gary C Smith, Garyson, Ashley and our family in you thoughts and prayers. This is going to be a difficult weekend.
Thank you all for making his tail wag on those days he was working.

Some filters are marketed as “3-month,” “6-month,” or even “1-year” filters. But the truth is, every house is different.

Things like pets, dust infiltration, traffic in and out of the home, construction, and even the location of the house can all affect how quickly a filter gets dirty.

Some homes may be perfectly fine changing their filter every 6 months, while others may need theirs replaced every couple of months.

Don’t rely solely on the timeframe printed on the filter. As you live in the home, periodically check it and you can eventually determine a schedule that works for your specific house.

A good rule of thumb: you should be able to see clear, visible light through the filter. If the filter is so dirty that the light coming through is very dim or difficult to see, it’s likely time to replace it.

A dirty filter can restrict airflow through your HVAC system, making it work harder and potentially costing you more in the long run.

Hope this helps—and maybe saves you some money down the road! 🏠❄️

It’s supposed to be hot this weekend! At Airotron, we want you to come home from the pool to a cool, comfortable house.

Now is a great time to check your air conditioner filter and make sure it’s clean and ready to go. A clean filter helps your system run more efficiently, keeping your home cool while helping your HVAC system work its best.

Thanks to our beautiful model for the picture.

Starting the morning with a failed capacitor! ☀️

It’s one of the most common HVAC parts to fail, and while there are several reasons it can happen, many failures can be prevented with proper maintenance.

The best way to reduce the chances of a capacitor failing is by having your system professionally serviced each year. Regular maintenance helps catch small issues before they turn into expensive repairs.

If you’re not interested in a maintenance plan, there are still a few things you can do as a homeowner to help your system:

✅ Keep your outdoor condenser coil clean.
✅ When mowing or w**d eating, avoid blowing grass clippings and dust directly into the unit.
✅ Once or twice a year, gently rinse the outdoor coil with a regular garden hose (no high pressure). A clean coil allows your system to breathe easier, run more efficiently, and helps reduce unnecessary stress on components.

A little preventative care can go a long way toward avoiding an unexpected breakdown on one of the hottest days of the summer!

If your system isn’t keeping up or you’d like it checked over, give Airotron Inc. a call—we’re happy to help keep you cool! ❄️

One of the best parts of running service calls during the summer is spotting all the kids out there with their lemonade stands. 😂 It’s honestly the only reason I still carry cash! Nothing beats an ice-cold cup on a hot day while supporting some future entrepreneurs and local small businesses. 🍋☀️

Thanks to all the young business owners helping keep us HVAC techs going in this heat!

Ever seen one of these on your HVAC system and wondered what it was? 👀

They’re not very common on residential systems, but they’re definitely not new technology. Recently, we’ve started installing these sight glasses as a less invasive way to monitor system performance.

With today’s refrigerant prices—and the importance of keeping refrigerant blends properly balanced—every little bit helps. A sight glass lets us evaluate part of your system’s performance without hooking up gauges every time, reducing the chance of contamination or losing small amounts of refrigerant over years of connecting and disconnecting hoses.

It’s just one more way we’re working to take better care of your system instead of doing the bare minimum. We’re always looking for ways to improve and provide the best service possible. 🔧❄️

Arguably the most life-saving tool an HVAC tech can carry in their pocket. 😂 It’s definitely saved me countless trips back to the van and plenty of extra crawling through attics and crawl spaces.

Simple, but incredibly effective.

Hope everyone’s staying cool today! If not, give us a call and let us help you out. Who knows—you might even get to see my handy-dandy little tool in action. 😎
