We are a company that not only takes pride in our finished product but, also in the way we achieve our goal: To provide you with the home of your dreams with as little inconvenience as possible. In the design phase we will take your preliminary thoughts and designs, even if they're sketched on a napkin, and mold them into a formal plan that not only fits your dreams bu

t also your pocket book. Throughout construction, you can be assured that all our professional craftsman will arrive when they say they'll arrive and build according to plan with no short-cuts, using only the highest quality structural and finishing materials. We will conform to the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code for all phases of the project. We won't consider the project complete until you are fully satisfied. We believe that the path to creating a Unique Retreat should be as pleasant as the many years you'll spend enjoying it. We will bend over backwards to make your project experience a fond memory. I have achieved my dream of establishing a building company that designs and creates some of the most beautiful and unique homes in Northwestern Wisconsin. I have been in the construction business for nearly 30 years: Upon Graduation from San Diego State University in 1975 with a degree in Industrial Arts, I established a successful yacht carpentry company. I moved on to become a Project Engineer with National Steel and Shipbuilding Co., a principal contractor for the U.S. Navy. After moving to Wisconsin in 1987, I founded and operated M & M Electric (an Electrical Contracting Company) until I established Unique Retreat Builders. For the past 15 years I have applied all my education and experience to make Unique Retreat Builders the the premier builder in Northwestern Wisconsin. My craftsmen and I look forward to helping you realize the unique vacation home you've always wanted.

Isn’t it just wonderful that humans are building better ways to kill each other. I did 3 tours in the combat zone in Vietnam in Helicopter Squadrons from our Aircraft Carriers and our battle group definitely killed hundreds if not thousands of Vietnamese people both friends and foe, Men, Women and Children. It seems like nothing has changed because somewhere around the world someone is involved with killing another human.
