Same client. Same day. Two states. Two very different stages of construction.

On October 13, our teams captured progress at two active El Car Wash projects, and the contrast between the job sites speaks for itself.

📍 Sand Lake | Orlando, FL
Our Southeast Division is well into vertical construction, with the building taking shape and site improvements progressing around it.

📍 Lake in the Hills, IL
Meanwhile, our Midwest Division is in the early stages of site development, preparing the groundwork for what's to come.

While these projects may look completely different today, they're both moving toward the same goal: delivering another successful location for our client.

One of the things we're most proud of at DeLauter is our ability to support clients as they grow across markets. With teams operating throughout multiple regions, we're able to bring the same commitment to quality, coordination, and ex*****on to projects hundreds of miles apart, regardless of where they are in the construction process.

From the ground up. 🚧🏗️

You've seen the renderings, followed the progress, and celebrated the grand opening. Now, we're taking you Behind the Build for a look at the entire construction journey of the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Dade City, Florida!

What started as an empty site is now a fully completed, branded, and operational restaurant. This time-lapse captures the transformation from initial site work and foundation to vertical construction, exterior finishes, and the final details that brought this location to life.

Completed in August, this ground-up project is a reflection of the planning, coordination, and craftsmanship that goes into bringing a commercial building from concept to completion.

We’re proud to share the finished Brightmont Academy Phase 2 project in Naperville, IL.

From structural and MEP work to framing, finishes, flooring, lighting, restrooms, classroom and common areas, this project came together through careful coordination across every phase of construction.

The completed space is bright, functional, and built to support the students, staff, and daily operations of Brightmont Academy for years to come.

A strong finish to a project that required attention to detail from the ground up.

Another Midwest Division project complete.

We’re proud to share the completed Onto Fertility Clinic in Naperville, IL.

From underground plumbing and electrical work to framing, MEP coordination, flooring, millwork, lighting, and final finishes, our team helped bring this healthcare buildout together from the ground up.

The finished space includes treatment rooms, reception areas, custom millwork, and thoughtfully executed details designed to support both patients and staff.

We’re proud of the final result and grateful to everyone who contributed to bringing this project across the finish line.

September’s Employee Spotlight is Kres Menges, SE Construction Manager.

Kres joined DeLauter in 2023, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. A traveling SE Construction Manager, Kres grew up working alongside his father and later proudly served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm. He also studied Construction Management and Contract Labor Law at The Ohio State University and Columbus State University.

Throughout his career, Kres has been involved in the design, manufacturing, and management of a wide range of projects, including television studios, theme parks, restaurants, medical and government facilities, and retail developments throughout Ohio and Florida.

Since joining DeLauter, he has successfully managed numerous challenging projects and has become one of the Southeast Division’s top Site Construction Managers.

His extensive experience, leadership, and dedication make him a valuable member of the DeLauter team.

We’re proud to share two recently awarded projects:

• 7Brew in Canon City, Colorado
• Life Time Fitness Lobby & Lounge Renovations in Algonquin, Bloomingdale, Orland Park, and Romeoville, Illinois

These awards represent a strong mix of new construction and multi-location renovation work, and we’re looking forward to bringing the same attention to detail, coordination, and craftsmanship to each project.

A great way to head into the final stretch of 2026, and we look forward to sharing progress from the field.

Another project across the finish line. 👏

DeLauter is proud to announce the completion of the Verizon project in Lakemoor, Illinois.

From early sitework and foundations to framing, MEP, exterior finishes, paving, landscaping, and final inspections, this project came together through months of coordination, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

And now that we have the finished photos back, the final result speaks for itself.

A big thank you to everyone who had a hand in bringing this project from plans to completion. We’re proud of the finished space and even more proud of the work behind it.
