We have been busy! Really should share more about what we do. This house is a custom home with some cool features, had to show off a little. We specialize in construction plumbing but are also here to help with the smaller repair jobs.

With the low temperatures this week, be sure to keep a faucet dripping and consider opening the cabinets under your sinks to allow heat around those pipes. Custom shower! This one is set up with 3 valves, 2 divertors on the opposite wall and 5 outlets!

We just put in the waste pipe for a 5 bathroom home on a slab. On Monday we’ll install the underslab conduit for some floor outlets.

We only installed the cold water main in the slab on this home, all the other hot and cold water lines will be between floors or in attic space. We always plan out our projects with builders and homeowners and present options. In some cases we install hot lines in the slab but honestly i dont prefer it.

If your hot water pipe is in the slab, we recommend insulating and installing in a pvc sleeve, or using pre-insulated pex so you don’t have to heat up the earth as well as the pipe to get hot water at the faucet.

This home will end up with a hot water reciculating system guaranteeing hot water on demand.
