50 years.

On February 16, 1976, Rick Rosa walked into Cromwell Concrete — and never looked back.

Starting at $200/week in 1976, he was ready to get to work. He had just one rule, he never wanted to punch a clock! In Rick's words:

“Couldn’t have gotten a better job. Got to do a lot of things I like to do — all at one place.”

Hard work meant something then. It still does.

He became the one and only Maintenance Manager — the guy who made it work when it had to work.

Under pressure? Absolutely.
But in Rick’s words:

“It was rewarding to get things done...I always knew that I had another project to get to"

Through every shift, every change, every challenge - Rick was there. As industry trends came and went - Rick stayed.

Even now, there’s always another project...Rick is already thinking about what he will work on at his home garage.

His advice for the next 50 years:

“Do something you like. Don’t wake up and go somewhere you’re not interested in.”
