ur landscape architects, Jeremiah DeGuire, a disabled veteran and partner in DG2 Design brings first-hand knowledge to the challenges one in a wheelchair face and overcome daily. It is our passion. It is what we live and breath. Unlike many landscape architect firms, we embrace diverse types of projects. We sincerely desire to hone and develop what we do and this is done through considering a far greater range of possibilities than what is usually found on a single-tier solution practice. We're excited to see work progress at the Crestwood Community Center! The building form is now taking shape, and we are getting a better idea of the size and scale of the entry plaza.

Earlier this week, DG2 helped host an open house for the realigned Meramec Greenway at Unger Park. Hot topics included the disc golf course layout, access to the new greenway, parking, and whether the new bike trail would make for a smoother ride. We enjoyed meeting with the public, hearing their reactions to a design preview, and answering their questions about the work ahead.

Next steps include finalizing design files, bidding on the construction work, breaking ground, and opening a new greenway for all to enjoy!

One year ago, we welcomed Stanford Griffith to the DG2 Design family — and our team, our clients, and our community are better for it.

As our Marketing & Public Engagement Lead, Stanford brings a deeply personal conviction that the spaces we design can change lives. He knows this firsthand. He's the guy who finds clarity on a greenway trail, inspiration in a sensory garden, and meaning in the way a well-designed landscape can quietly do what words sometimes can't.

In just one year, Stanford has elevated how we tell our story — from discovery and strategy to content, outreach, and everything in between. His background in accessible and inclusive design communication has deepened our commitment to reaching every member of the communities we serve, not just the ones already at the table.

We know that play in all kinds of weather is important for kids' growth and development. DG2 worked with Atlas Public School to design a playground that the students can enjoy rain or shine! We love seeing our work put to action — or even relaxation.

Our Story

DG2 Design was established in March of 2011 by Kristy DeGuire. Prior to starting DG2, Kristy was in charge of the landscape & planning group at a multi-disciplinary firm where she was responsible for managing the site design of multiple corporate clients in St. Louis including Edward Jones, BJC, and Nestle Purina and numerous park and greenways including participating in the original Great Rivers Greenway River Ring master plan.

The designers at DG2 have successfully integrated over 50 years of design experience into a landscape architecture firm that has sensitivity for the environment and the client’s values and needs. With a history of corporate, municipal, park master planning and greenway planning experience, DG2 Design has a passion for connecting people to nature. Whether it is done through the construction of a new natural playground or the extension of a 2 mile greenway, DG2 Design places special emphasis on improving people’s lives through nature.
