Morning snacks with Wallace

Summer weekend mornings are always so enjoyable and relaxing. I can take my time and not feel rushed because of work. It’s so lovely going out early when it’s cool and crisp and the sun is just starting to peek over the hill. Seeing Wallace, Ebony, and Bunny first thing in the morning always brings me joy.

The donks are so inquisitive. Unlike the horses who tend to shy away, donkeys are similar to cows in some ways and that they like to investigate things and are not a skittish. They think baby Wallace is something pretty special.

Brush > Treats 🐮😂

Wallace has figured out that if he puts his head down, the brush comes out. 😂

He absolutely LOVES a good head scratch and especially those under-the-chin brushes. Honestly, I think he likes me more for my grooming skills than my treat supply. 🤣

Apparently, I’m just his personal cow spa attendant. 🐮🧖‍♂️❤️

A little neck-and-head scratchin’ put Wallace in a great mooood… and apparently gave him a mini moo-hawk. 😂🤘🐮

Wallace wanted to say hello to the horses tonight. He let Mom and auntie bunny leave so he could go say hello. It was quite adorable. He then realized he was all by himself. I was hoping to catch him running back to Mom but he casually strolled to find her. He’s really starting to show his independence at this stage.
