Carport repair that was badly damaged from a fallen tree! Informed that this would be a insurance claim. I carefully read the damages listed on the insurance report, and compared with my notes. I was able to come up with a plan to rebuild without affecting the neighbors portions. Note * not being able to rebuild columns as they are shared. By using a if > then view point. I took the insurance report and argued if this is bad, then this needs fixed also! Getting my customer everything she hoped and more.

On direct orders from homeowner Mr. Dan to "Just do what you do." Miss. Foster came through the entry and gave some guidance as to what she wanted. That being to extend existing porch roof to sides of house, and "make look finished". Easy enough, but it can be hard following other peoples work. Knowing the end result has to be reflective of both your skill and body of work. While every part of me wanted to tear the whole porch off and start over. I always am thinking about what is the best solution factoring money, time, and desired result. Here that meant fixing instead of restarting. Addressing first the stuctural parts of the roof, then bringing it all together. I look forward to closing the rest of the porch in. With the Fosters happy! I will take Dans advice, and "Just do what you do." See pics for before and after. As well as progress and notes!

Check out this! The bath sits in a exterior wall alongside a creek. Making the room a odd triangle shaped space. Upon deciding to use this space, instead of just updating the existing design. We went with a shower to save space. Able then to fit the vanity in what was the void. Making it a much more comfortable and usable space!

Grooming area update for The Dog Stop. Wonderful company, full of awesome individuals who couldnt care more about your dog! Working on a tight schedule to get the groomers back and doing what they do best. The only place I would consider sending my pups for daycare or grooming. Also was amazed at the friendliness and knowlege of the staff, guiding me towards the right food for my dogs! I can only hope my work matches their care.

Customers requests.
A) level area to make main seating area
B) tie into existing deck /use same decking

So we started by coming off existing deck parallel and square, extending as far as we could into yard without major landscaping.
Building the main deck.
We then added pvc wood texture trim board around all perimiters. This not only gives appearance that deck is built at same time, but also acts as a visible edge which makes it safer.

We then added the steps, one in the rear making it flow better and got rid of a rather big step down if the platform wasnt there. So saftey as well.

Then at the front of the deck I added a step with matching planter tied in.

Put together this prefab pavilion from Amazon. Directions were purely pictures! That said can't beat the end result and...

Pretty Proud of this one. Customer was quoted over 45k by another contractor. Knowing she was on a budget, and that her main goal was stabilizing the existing structure. We set a plan to reuse as much material as possible. *note the trex. Redesigning support / strengthening everything back together the right way. The pool house now is completely level. Along the way after removing the decking we noticed the wall supporting the sidewalk between pool and deck was crumbling. By tying in rebar and filling with concrete we were able to resupport the wall, and serve as a solid foundation for the deck joists. No extra cost to her. Believe it or not what made her happiest is that her doors now close correctly and don't sway!
