Today's office!!!
Three trees, two bushes, and a bunch of brush cut back off customers garage roof and done by 1:00.
Still had time to run over and free up and clean up a large emergency hanger for another customer before escaping the heat at 2:30.
Then onto hookup horse trailer to get ready to take horses to western themed Vacation Bible School tomorrow morning at our church, Calvary Chapel Crawfordsville in the morning to let the kiddies get on the back of some real live 🐎 s.
Horses are mentioned in the Bible a total of 188 times. They appear in both the Old and New Testaments, often symbolizing strength, speed, and military power.
However, they also serve as a reminder of God's sovereignty and are used in prophetic passages.
One of my favorite biblical horse related verses is where the tongue is compared to a horse's bit is James 3:3. It states, "Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body".
This verse is part of a larger passage (James 3:2-12) that uses the image of a bit to illustrate how a small part of the body, the tongue, can exert significant control over the whole person.
A small bit can be used to control the very large horse weighing possibly over half a ton!!! Just like our little toungs can set the direction of our WHOLE bodies, for good or evil.
Way too often I let my little tounge take me down a non God glorification path :(
