Doing underground projects in the winter is never easy. This winter has proved to be even more challenging with the bitter cold temperatures! Nonetheless, below are some pictures of a new home we are currently working on. Thankfully, framing is now done and windows and doors will be installed soon so we can begin working inside with salamander heaters. More pictures to come on this project!

We absolutely loving helping people improve their quality of life. One of our most recent projects is what you see below. Converting a tub/shower into a walk-in shower to assist our customer in getting in and out of the shower safely. We do demo and then set the shower base on day 1. The next day, after the mortar bed has had time to cure, we install the walls and then start replacing drywall. We make sure the customer doesn’t have to go without a shower for more than 24 hours. Walls were in and we got everything set up so she could continue to use the shower while we finished up on our end. In the next week we will be installing the sliding shower doors and this remodel will be complete. We love to help our customers feel safer in their own home.

We have 1 shelf left to do in this bathroom remodel. This has been quite a project for us, but we enjoyed every bit of it. Almost everything in this bathroom was special order, which took several weeks to get in, but the finished product is amazing and the customer is very pleased with the results!

The cost of EVERYTHING seems to be going up. It’s no different in our industry. The best thing you can do for yourself and your home is maintain your equipment. Water heaters should be serviced once a year. Let me know if you need to get on our schedule! The whole process will take less than 1 hour. We service residential and commercial standard heaters and tankless water heaters.

I’m not sure how this wasn’t part of our 4-year training in plumbing school! Who knew that there is actually a day dedicated to the toilet? 😂 After researching, this day is actually to bring awareness that even in this day and age, there are still billions of people that don’t have access to toilets and the sanitation systems that support them. 😳Thankful that we are not one of them!

This sander has come in so handy. We weren’t quite sure if we would use it a lot during our remodeling projects, but it sure has been a great purchase! Anyone who has dealt with drywall before knows the mess it creates. This sander attached to our hepa vacuum significantly reduces the dust created from sanding drywall.

We received a letter in our mail today from Indiana American Water due to a potential for lead being in our water. Below are some potential sources of lead in your water. I’ve also included the health issues caused by lead.

👉🏼 Fact: only 9 states have reported safe levels of lead in their water supply. Indiana is not one of them.
👉🏼 Fact: in 1986, laws went into effect that banned the use of lead-containing materials to provide water to homes. If your house was built before 1986, there is a high probability that your water supply to your house is being fed by pipes that contain lead.
