The news we've been waiting to share! We recently closed on our new shop and office and we couldn't be more excited! PICKELL HANDYMAN SERVICE is now located at 1018 Iowa Ave in downtown Onawa. This move gives us nearly 5,000 sq ft to better serve our great customers and facilitate our day to day operations. With this move, we now have a heated workspace, cold storage warehouse, and offices and meeting space. We will also have in-stock slab wood available from Bell Creek Mill available. Look for more updates on this exciting new adventure as we build out our project to better build your projects.

Can you imagine enjoying these cool crisp mornings with this outdoor space? This new covered porch is perfect for just that. We removed the old deck and replaced it with this all new composite deck and roof structure complete with the beautiful Early American pine shiplap ceiling. Another project we completed this summer was this interior and exterior home renovation in Onawa. This home got all new vinyl siding, soffit and fascia, trim coil wraps, gutters, windows, all new roof (5 old layers removed!!), a master bathroom and walk in closet addition, master bedroom extension, second floor bathroom, and much more. What a busy season we've had here at PHS! We haven't posted much for a while on social media, but that's because we have been working our way through our list of projects for our great customers! This project was one of our biggest, breaking ground back in August of '24, and completed in April of '25. This was the third and final phase of the Nebowa Christian Camp's new kitchen and dining hall facility. With over 7,600 sq ft under roof, it can now accommodate their growing camp. We are very grateful for the opportunity to once again partner with NCC to keep their legacy going for years to come.

As the summer winds down, keep a look out for more posts to come in the next few weeks as we update you with what we've been up to this past spring and summer. And soon, we will have a big announcement... We cant wait to share the news!
