When we say "transparency in construction" this is exactly what we mean. This is the pillar of service we are most proud of and it defines our relationships with each home owner.

As Hurricane Isaias heads for the Gulf Coast, our hearts and prayers are with every family in its path. 🙏

This is the part of a home you’ll never see once it’s finished, and it’s the part that matters most on a night like tonight. In South Louisiana, a home has to be built for storms. That means engineered roof framing, metal connectors at the joints, fully sheathed walls and a roof system tied together from the top plate up.

Protection for your family starts long before the wind picks up.

Right now, our hearts are with our friends along the coast. Please focus on staying safe. Secure what you can, follow local officials and check on your neighbors. We’re praying for everyone in the storm’s path, and we’ll be here to help our community rebuild when it passes.

Building science is a huge topic. But it really comes down to two things.
1️⃣ Keeping bulk water out
2️⃣ Controlling how air gets into your home

Get those two right and your house lasts longer, runs more efficiently, and feels better to live in.

We don't hide how we build. We walk you through it.

J Hand Homes is thrilled and grateful that Tranquility Base has been recognized with not one, but TWO tremendous honors. RHH Architects earned dual recognition at the annual AIA Louisiana Design Awards, securing the jury-selected Honor Award (the state's highest level of architectural excellence) alongside the Members' Choice Award, which is voted on by architectural peers across the state.

To have built this truly one-of-a-kind home alongside RHH Architects is a dream come true for us. Congratulations to everyone:

• Architect: RHH Architects
• Builder: J Hand Homes
• Landscape Design: Grant Murphy, GM Design Studio

You're looking at real project specs, right there on the stud, one scan away.

Every J Hand Homes jobsite gets the same treatment: specs and selections are pulled up on-site, not buried in an email chain. That's what "open book" actually means to us. Nothing about your home is locked away from you, from the first stud to the final walkthrough.
