When in the course of human events it became necessary for one architecture firm to separate itself from another...One score and five years ago, our forefathers brought forth a new Architecture firm, and named it msh architects!
That's right, our country's 250th birthday coincides with an msh milestone. Today, June 27, 2026 our firm will be 25 years old, 10% of the age of the United States of America!
While msh is a mere youth compared to our venerable old nation, we celebrate this date with gratitude.
When we started msh architects in the summer of 2001, three dimensional modeling was in its infancy, cell phones consisted of Nokias and Motorola flip phones, and we had a fax machine. Our current three-dimensional, internet fueled, interconnected design world was only a futuristic dream.
As we move forward in the cloud of our now hyper-connected world, we are thankful for every person that has been part of our msh family: Margie, Rebecca, and Karrah: Thank you for your insights, your dedication, and your work together to create our clients’ vision of the future.
The msh family has included actual family over the years. John Hunley worked with us drafting and troubleshooting IT for a couple of years. Currently, Ava Hunley keeps us going with construction administration, contracts, coordination, and social media.
Our team is rounded out by future architects, Alexis and Galen, who work hard to put all the ideas on "paper", creating renderings and construction documents, and intern KJ, who is learning the ropes in an architecture firm this summer.
This team is family, and we are so thankful to have had 25 years in this thriving Covington community. We look forward to serving our clients here in Louisiana and in the Gulf Coast region for 25 more years! (At some point the younger ones will be in charge and we will be hiking)
