❓Will A Mud Board Look Bad❓
- We get this question a lot -
And as you can see from this picture… it DOESN'T LOOK BAD at all, if anything, it adds to the feel of your backyard with a clean intentional and finished look. A mud board sits at the bottom of the fence to protect the boards from moisture and ground contact, helping extend the life of the fence.
But it also serves another important purpose:
-It allows us to handle uneven yards the right way.
Instead of a fence that rises and dips with the ground (topography), the mud board lets the top of the fence stay smooth and flowing, while the bottom adjusts naturally where needed. The mud board showing more showing in some areas and less in others.
