This is the part of the job I never get tired of. 🌲

Standing back at the end of the day and seeing what used to be thick, overgrown vegetation opened back up into beautiful, usable property.

For this project, we selectively mulched the unwanted brush, saplings, and understory while preserving the mature trees that give the property its natural character.

Now the landowner has better visibility, easier access, and more room to actually enjoy the land they already own.

And I have to admit, sometimes I just like standing there looking at what the Bayou Beast accomplished. 😂

That’s what it’s all about.

Running a small business will test your faith in ways you never expected. 🙏🌲

Am I working hard enough? Am I making the right decisions? What happens when business slows down?

Those questions have a way of creeping in when you’re building something from the ground up.

But sometimes I need to remind myself that my job is to show up, work hard, do right by the people who trust me, and leave the things I can’t control in God’s hands.

I’m learning that faith doesn’t mean having all the answers. It means trusting Him even when I don’t.

One day, one job, one blessing at a time.

Grateful for every opportunity God puts in front of me.

If your property looks like this, Louisiana might be winning. 😂🌿

Thick brush, vines, and saplings can turn a beautiful piece of property into something you can barely walk through.

But you don’t necessarily need to clear everything to get your land back.

At Bayou Belle Landworks, we use selective forestry mulching to open up overgrown areas, improve visibility and access, and help homeowners reclaim more of the property they already own.

When the homeowner sees their property after the Bayou Beast finishes eating. 😂🌲🙌

Okay, maybe we’re exaggerating the reaction just a little bit. 😂

But there’s something pretty satisfying about watching a homeowner see their overgrown property opened back up.

The brush is gone, the mature trees are still standing, and suddenly they’ve got more property they can actually see, walk, and enjoy.

That’s the kind of reaction we’re working for!

One acre of overgrowth. A whole lot of difference. 🌲

We just wrapped up this project outside Goodbee, Louisiana.

Before we started, thick brush, saplings, and unwanted vegetation had taken over the wooded property, making it difficult to see through or enjoy.

The goal wasn’t to remove the forest. It was to reclaim the space underneath it.

With selective forestry mulching, we opened up the understory while preserving the mature trees and natural wooded character.

Now look at the difference!

Better visibility, easier access, and more usable property without clearing everything.

Another good day in the woods with the Bayou Beast. 😂🌲

Meanwhile, I’m somewhere in the Louisiana woods, trying to convince the Bayou Beast she’s had enough trees for one day.

Some days I’m the owner, operator, mechanic, salesman, and office staff.

And apparently, today I’m also the receptionist. 😂

All jokes aside, I wouldn’t trade it. There’s something pretty rewarding about helping folks reclaim their overgrown property and seeing the results at the end of the day.

Just a little appreciation post for the Bayou Beast. 🌲😎

She gets dirty. She gets hungry. And she spends her days working through the kind of Louisiana overgrowth that can make parts of a property almost unusable.

The machine gets the attention, but the result is what matters: helping landowners open up visibility, regain access, and enjoy more of the property they already own.

And yeah… she looks pretty good doing it. 😂
