These good people heard a loud smack and knew lightning had struck extremely close. Thankfully no one was hurt, but the pine tree definitely felt the lightning bolt. The tree is now dead, and these good folks have been nervous because this giant pine tree is less than 20 feet from their home and large limbs are falling. They know it’s only a matter of time until someone is hurt or something is damaged, so they contacted us for help removing this dangerous tree. We’re here today helping them safely remove it, and they’re excited to see us. They will be sleeping well tonight knowing they don’t have to worry about this dead tree collapsing on them and their home! These good people were stressed because their pecan tree is dying, dropping large limbs in their yard, and the next branch to fall could collapse on top of their home. Removing this hazardous tree BEFORE it falls on these good people’s home! It’s been dropping limbs, and it may not be obvious from the ground, but this tree is loaded with termites. Ants are tunneling in the tree too. When a tree starts showing outward signs of stress, that’s only a small part of the story. The tip of the iceberg. Why wait for a tree to experience a failure in a large branch or in the trunk, when you can contact us before suffering any property damage. These good people have two sweet gum trees standing close to their home. They have enjoyed the trees for many years, but recently the trees have started rotting and dropping limbs. A couple fell in the yard, one hit their fence, and another almost hit one of their cars. Not cool. A couple years ago, a limb from an oak tree fell on their home. The roof and structure sustained serious damage, and it wasn’t fun having to deal with the inconveniences and headaches involved with the repair process. The team at Covington Montessori School contacted us because the storm that hit the area knocked a large tree down on the property. A section of the tree fell across the driveway, on the fence, and into the playground. Good thing the majority fell in a way that did not damage the school building because it certainly could have been much worse. These good people have a large tree beside their home. For many years it provided shade and other benefits, but limbs have been falling recently, and they’re unable to park their cars in their driveway without risk of damage. Rather than allowing limbs to continue falling on either their vehicles or themselves, these good folks contacted us for help. They’re happy to see this project completed, because they can begin parking in their driveway again and they no longer have to worry about tree branches falling from overhead. Our friends had the terrible experience of having to deal with a massive tree falling on their home. They’re grateful no one was hurt or killed, but the experience has been an absolute nightmare otherwise.

First, they were out of town when the tree fell. Their neighbors notified them of the accident, but reported that the large trunk hadn’t fallen on the home. “Just the limbs and smaller branches” fell on the home so everything should be okay. Well it turns out the roof had several holes not visible from the ground view, and several more rainstorms came shortly after the tree fell. The water intrusion quickly ruined large sections of the Sheetrock and drywall. Large sections of the flooring were also damaged.

Upon returning home, these good people walked into a situation where they were unable to continue living in their home. They had to make arrangements for new living quarters and managed to a huge home repair project. We’re talking months and months of time focused on this in addition to their normal work. Not to mention the thousands and thousands of dollars this cost them, they also felt completely drained of positive energy many times during this ordeal.

They’re happy we’re here today helping clear the remaining tree debris, because it’s a great relief to put this chapter behind them. Light at the end of the tunnel!

They only wish they would have taken the danger more seriously and called us to remove the tree BEFORE it collapsed on their home. Compared to the stress, headaches, and massive costs of repairs just to get things back to normal, the cost of a tree removal in the first place is small. Never again!
