Due to a last minute cancellation I was able to help out a local neighbor get their golf cart ready for the arrival of a dear family member. The tires on the cart we very badly aged and worn and all needed a replacement. It was a quick trip to swap in the new wheels/tires that the customer provided and it rolling safely again.

While I was there I determined that the battery connections were loose so of course I took care of that so that the cart will operate to its full potential. I checked all the cells in all the batteries and everything was up to correct levels. The cart is now safe and ready to take these wonderful ladies wherever they need to go!

On the way out I noticed a disconnected downspout so out came the ladder and that's all taken care of now. If you're from Florida you know that our gutters and downspouts earn their keep so we have to keep them moving the water away from our homes. Catch these problems before they cause havoc. Five minutes now will save hours, days, or even weeks of repairs later!

It's that time of year again! Love it or hate it we will be turning the clocks back one hour this coming Sunday (Nov 3rd 2024). The NFPA recommends checking your smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries when the clocks are turned back and again when they move foward in March. Protect your family and loved ones by making sure these critical safety devices are operating properly!
