RE+ is only a month away, and Solar Insure will be in Las Vegas to talk commercial warranty coverage.

Property owners expect decades of predictable performance, but manufacturer warranties don't cover the service, labor, and ownership complexity of commercial-scale systems. SI-commercial closes that gap with a warranty built specifically for commercial projects.

- 30-year panel and 20-year inverter coverage, parts and labor included
- Protection if a manufacturer goes out of business
- Coverage for commercial systems up to 2 MW DC

Stop by booth C4190, or start the show with us at our breakfast with Rello and Fortress Power.

Paying for a commercial solar system and protecting it are two different conversations. Both matter. 🛡️

If your customer is financing an asset for 20 or 30 years, the conversation can't stop at how they'll pay for it.

🔧 Labor for swapped-out equipment
đźšš Service calls and truck rolls
đź’¸ Costs that land on your bottom line or your customer's savings

C-PACE can help answer how they'll pay for it. Solar Insure can help answer how they'll protect it.

Most Powerwall failures don't happen years down the road. In our monitored fleet, roughly 84% happened in the first year, and 40% within 90 days of install.

Early failures usually trace back to manufacturing defects or installation errors, and Tesla's warranty doesn't cover the labor to troubleshoot and swap the unit. Across our Powerwall claims, the average labor payout was $604. Our reliability study breaks down the full dataset, including an overall battery failure rate of 0.93%.

If you're installing the Powerwall 3, our review covers what changed on the install side: an integrated hybrid inverter, 11.5 kW of output, 6 MPPTs, a lighter 287 lb unit, and a backup switch that attaches directly at the meter. Fewer components to mount and wire, and quicker commissioning.

SI-30 warranties cover parts and qualified labor on Tesla and the rest of our Approved Vendor List.

We asked our Elite Providers a simple question: what drove you to start working with Solar Insure?

Their answers had a lot in common. Manufacturer warranties cover the equipment, but labor and long-term battery coverage often fall back on the installer. Homeowners and business owners want to know who will support their system if their installer isn't around in 10 years. And sales teams need a straight answer to the objection that stalls deals.

One provider summed it up: the biggest thing standing between a customer and a decision usually isn't price. It's fear.

Swipe through to hear it in their own words.

C-PACE isn't new. It's available in 40 states, and SEIA considers it an essential tool for expanding commercial solar.

So why does it rarely come up until a deal is already stuck?

Most commercial projects don't stall because the numbers don't work. They stall when a property owner who wants the system sees a $1 million investment and has to decide where that capital comes from. C-PACE gives them another path. Depending on the program, it can finance up to 100% of eligible project costs, tie repayment to the property through an assessment, and let the owner keep the system.

The catch is timing. If your team is searching for a C-PACE provider after the proposal is already on the table, you're starting late. Program administrators, capital providers, deal minimums, lender consent, and funding timelines all take time to sort out.

In our latest breakdown, we look at how C-PACE compares to cash, loans, PPAs, and leases; what to compare between providers; and four steps to vet a C-PACE partner before you bring them to a customer.

RE+ is only a month away, and Solar Insure will be in Las Vegas to talk residential warranty coverage.

Homeowners want simplified, long-term protection for their system's most critical components. Solar Insure builds on manufacturer warranties by bringing that coverage together under one warranty, giving installers real backing to offer at the point of sale.

Here's what our Elite Providers say it's done for their business:

- A clear answer when homeowners ask who covers their system in 10 years
- Stronger sales conversations and fewer deals stalled on long-term concerns
- Independent vetting that builds credibility with customers
- Labor coverage that keeps service costs off the installer's books years after install

Happy October to all! As the Q4 rush begins, it's important to recognize the people who make it all possible. And this month, we're proud to spotlight our Senior Software Engineer, Pavel Rorecek!

Pavel is a team player who sets the standard for quality and timely communication. He's always ready to jump in and help at a moment's notice, whether it's a ticket question or an emergency. So much so that it's become a game for the rest of the backend team to beat him to the scene! And when someone does beat him to it, he's the first to cheer them on. - Ryan Huett, Engineering Manager

Pavel is a joy to have on our team, evident by all the kind words from other members of our engineering team Ki Song, Ali Alizade, and Levan Manoukian. Pavel's work helps make our key applications, like Daybreak, run smoothly and efficiently.

Thank you for all that you do, Pavel!

Don't miss this! Wednesday, we're covering how to stop leaving money on the table after the first install.

Solar Insure Chief Revenue Officer Dean Chiaravallotti and Rob Schwarzinger of are hosting "Future-Proof Your Battery Storage Business: The case for systems and customers, you don't have to rip out."

If a customer's first battery can't grow with them, your next sale to that customer is a replacement job. The session covers expandable hardware and 30-year warranty coverage, the two pieces that turn one install into a long-term relationship.

⚡️ Is commercial solar + storage the faster path to a stronger grid?

At our recent webinar with Fortress Power, Dean Chiaravallotti and Jake Whitney discussed how aging grid infrastructure, rising demand, and wasted excess energy are driving greater demand for commercial solar + storage.

Local energy storage can keep energy where it’s needed, reduce waste, and support grid stability—without waiting years for new generation infrastructure.

🎥 Watch the full episode to hear the conversation and learn more about the role of commercial energy storage.
