The neck on this Jazz Bass turned into a ski jump. Sighting down the side of the neck, you can see a massive bow. The truss rod is tightened all the way, customer left it out in the Sun ☀️. The neck is toast unfortunately and a replacement neck or bass is the next step

Is there an official name for this thing? I always called it a wang stick, but I’ve heard whammy bar, vibrato bar, trem bar, 🤷🏻‍♂️ do you have a good name for these?
