We are so proud of our team for donating and assembling a total of 22 backpacks for the kids at Project Hope Alliance!

Thanks to the generosity of our D+M family, every backpack was filled with school supplies, and we also collected a wonderful stack of gift cards to help students get new clothes for the school year.

When kids have what they need on day one, they can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and succeeding.

Thank you to everyone who donated, dropped off backpacks, and helped make this happen. This is what community looks like! 💚

Davison + Moore is excited to partner once again with Project Hope Alliance — this time for their Back to School Drive! We're committed to filling at least 20 black JanSport backpacks with school supplies and gift cards for new clothes, and we'd love the support of our community.

Three ways to donate:

2. Drop off a black JanSport backpack to our Costa Mesa office by July 22nd, and we'll fill it for you!

Last Thursday, the D+M team traded job sites for lawn bowls at the Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling Club — and it turns out we're naturals. (Results may vary.)

Fun facts we learned: lawn bowling dates back to the 13th century, making it one of the oldest sports in history — and it's headed for the 2032 Summer Olympics in Brisbane. Officially ancient AND cutting edge.

Special thanks to Charlie Herbert, Ron Gill, and the Newport Harbor Lawn Bowling Club for hosting — and to a crew that brings the same energy to team building as they do to a job site. 🏆

We're excited to kick off 2026 by welcoming our newest team member, Sam Gallo! Sam brings a unique background to Davison & Moore—an Orange County native with a Master's in Marine Biology and NCAA Division I water polo experience at UC San Diego.

While his journey from marine science to commercial flooring might seem unconventional, Sam's analytical mindset, competitive drive, and problem-solving skills are exactly what we look for in our team. We can't wait to see him apply that same dedication to our projects.

When he's not on the jobsite as our newest Project Manager, you'll find Sam in the ocean—surfing, spearfishing, or playing water polo along the Southern California coast.
