We’ve introduced Bradley, Shawn, and Marsha, so I suppose I can’t get away without putting myself in the Meet the Team series too. 😂

Most of you already know me. I’m Daryl, owner of Knoxville Landscaping LLC, and chances are if you’ve worked with us, we’ve probably talked, texted, or you’ve seen me out on your property.

I started this company in 2018 as a side hustle, and over the years it has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. What started with simply trying to do good work and build something of my own has turned into a growing company, a great team, and some pretty big plans for the future.

And despite “Owner” being the title, I still wear just about every hat around here.

I’m estimating jobs, talking with customers, working alongside the crew, maintaining equipment, planning routes, figuring out the numbers, and constantly looking for ways we can improve.

Sometimes all before lunch. 😂

As Knoxville Landscaping continues to grow, one thing I don’t want to change is the standard we operate by. That’s why we built our core values around ROOT:

O — Openness: Communicate. Be honest.
O — Originality: Find a better way.
T — Tenacity: Finish what we start.

We’re building something for the long haul, and I’m fortunate to have a great team and some pretty awesome customers helping make that possible.

There’s still a long way to go—and that’s the part I’m excited about.

Meet Marsha — the one who keeps Knoxville Landscaping (and Daryl 😅) in check.

You may not see Marsha out mowing lawns or installing landscapes, but she plays a huge role in everything that happens behind the scenes at Knoxville Landscaping.

Marsha handles our bookkeeping, finances, HR, payroll, office administration, and a whole lot of the organization that keeps this company moving forward.

She’s the one watching the numbers, keeping paperwork straight, helping take care of our team, asking the questions Daryl occasionally doesn’t want asked 😂, and making sure his next “great business idea” actually makes financial sense.

As Knoxville Landscaping continues to grow, having someone focused on the business behind the business is more important than ever.

👋 MEET THE TEAM — SHAWN

We’re excited to introduce Shawn, one of the newest members of the Knoxville Landscaping team!

Shawn came to us with five years of experience in the lawn care industry and a strong work ethic. While most of his previous experience was focused on string trimming, he joined our team ready to expand his skills, learn every part of the business, and take on more responsibility.

And for Shawn, this is about more than just a job.

He has a baby on the way, goals of becoming a homeowner, and a drive to build a great life for his growing family. That kind of motivation is exactly what we like to see.

At Knoxville Landscaping, we want our people to grow right alongside the company. Our goal isn’t just to give Shawn work — it’s to give him opportunities to develop new skills, take on bigger responsibilities, and build a career he can be proud of.

Shawn has already jumped in ready to learn, and we’re excited to see where he goes from here.
