Another filter replacement by our pool pros!

Today, we replaced a filter that had a mysterious leak. After further investigation, we discovered the leak was coming from the bottom of the filter, where the fiberglass mold had separated at the seam.

Unfortunately, there was no reliable repair option and replacement was the best solution. Our team was able to find the right replacement filter at a reasonable cost, while still providing excellent filtration efficiency and proper system pressure. You want to do a pump upgrade but your equipment pad has limited to no space at all? No problem!! Blue Reef Pools has you covered.

Here’s another Equipment Pad Transformation by our pool pros! 💧

Even with very limited space, we were able to completely clean up and upgrade this pool equipment pad for better, more efficient water flow!

What we did:
• Replaced all the old, wonky PVC with new plumbing
• Added pavers for the booster pump
• Upgraded the single speed WhisperFlo to a variable speed SuperFlo pump
• Reworked the plumbing to maximize efficiency

The variable speed pump provides better flow control, uses less energy, and can help lower operating costs.

Another pool equipment upgrade completed by our team of pool pros! We want to give a huge shout out to Thunder Cattle Co. for choosing and trusting our team!

This project was a complete sand filter swap out, upgrading from traditional 20 silica sand to glass filter media.

Why glass media? It provides finer filtration, stays cleaner longer, requires less backwashing, and has a longer service life than traditional silica sand helping keep the pool water cleaner and clearer.

We also tackled a major issue on the suction side. The old plumbing had a rubber sleeve that was constantly pulling air into the system, causing the pump to lose prime. We replaced the suction side PVC, fittings, and connections from the ground up, eliminating the air leak.

To finish it off, we rebuilt and leveled the plumbing for better water flow to and from the pool, creating a cleaner, more efficient equipment setup.
