From a family painting business to a Federal Prime Contractor. šŗšø
This one means a little more to us.
S&S started in 1976, built on painting, craftsmanship, and a reputation for doing quality work. Nearly 50 years and three generations later, we've grown into something much bigger.
Today, S&S is a full-service General Contractor and Federal Prime Contractor, managing projects from start to finish and performing work across multiple trades.
We're proud to currently be working at this USDA facility, to have recently had the opportunity to perform work involving the U.S. Secret Service, and to be wrapping up a major project with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Getting here didn't happen overnight.
Federal contracting has pushed our company to another levelāfrom safety and quality control to scheduling, documentation, subcontractor coordination, government specifications, and the day-to-day responsibility that comes with being the prime contractor.
Every challenge has made us better.
Most importantly, none of it happens without our crew. They're the ones in the field every day representing our family name and proving that a local South Texas company can compete and perform at this level.
Three generations. Nearly 50 years. And we're still building.
