🏗️ Engineering is everywhere — even in some of Texas’ best hidden gems!
As ICE travels across the great state of Texas, we love taking a little time to explore the landmarks, history, and incredible engineering we come across along the way.
Today, we stopped at the Regency Suspension Bridge, also known as the “Swinging Bridge.” Spanning the Colorado River between Mills and San Saba Counties, this one-lane bridge has been standing since 1939 and remains one of the last suspension bridges in Texas still open to vehicular traffic.
A pretty incredible piece of Texas history—and an even better reminder of how engineering can stand the test of time. 👷♂️🌉
Have you ever visited the Regency Bridge?
