JE Construction Services will begin work on the expansion of FM 624 / Northwest Blvd on Monday, April 20. The project will extend from Wildcat Drive to CR 73 and will be completed in phases.

The FM 624 project includes several key safety and infrastructure improvements. The roadway will be widened to provide three continuous travel lanes in each direction, along with additional turn lanes at major intersections to improve traffic flow.

A 10-foot-wide, curbed shared-use sidewalk will be added on both sides of the roadway for pedestrians and cyclists. This path will run approximately three miles, from Wildcat Drive to CR 73.

As part of the storm drainage upgrades, existing roadside ditches will be covered, and a new underground storm drainage system will be installed.

We will continue to provide updates as the project progresses.
