Sometimes the smallest moments remind you why you love what you do.
As shared by our very own Joseph Martinez:
I was driving home through a neighborhood the other evening when I noticed a father and his son playing catch near the street.
A few seconds later, the ball rolled across the road. The little guy was too small to run after it, and the father looked like he had a pretty serious leg injury and couldn’t move too quickly himself.
I pulled over, grabbed the ball, and tossed it back over to them.
We talked Baseball for a few minutes after that. The dad noticed my truck and asked what I did, and next thing you know, we’re standing there talking HVAC, airflow issues, uneven cooling, no heat, high electric bills…everything he mentioned, I was able to answer on the spot and help him better understand.
Before I left, he took a picture of my truck so he could schedule service later on and thanked me for stopping to help. Right before I got back in the truck, little man hit me with a fist bump and told me to have a good night.
As I started pulling away, I looked back at the truck sitting there in the sunset and just felt proud.
Proud of what it represents.
Proud of the people behind it.
Proud to represent a team that genuinely helps families when they need it.
That feeling is hard to explain unless you really love what you do.
