This before-and-after project in Perris, California, is a great example of how the right garage door can transform a home's curb appeal while complementing its existing architecture.

Our friends at JTec Garage Doors -Sales, Service, & Repair installed this beautiful white AlumaDoor steel door, featuring a clean panel design and a streamlined row of windows. The result is an updated look that works beautifully with the home's warm stucco, stone accents, and traditional roofline.

What a difference a new garage door can make!

Our dealer Elite Door & Gate recently completed this installation in Kentfield, California, replacing a traditional raised-panel garage door with a full-view AlumaDoor featuring a white powder-coated frame and white laminated glass.

The result is a cleaner, more contemporary design that works beautifully with the home's gray exterior and white trim.

It's also a great example of how the right combination of frame finish and glass can transform the appearance of a home without changing its architecture.

There’s something oddly satisfying about watching this. 👀

This black-on-black, full-view AlumaDoor makes quite an impression against the light brick exterior of this home in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The dark glass and matching aluminum frame give the garage a completely different presence, even when the door is closed.

And watching it open and close? That’s pretty satisfying, too. 😎

One of our favorite things about full-view doors is seeing all the different places they end up.

This pair of AlumaDoors recently became part Two Ass Brewing Company in Auburn, California, installed by Auburn Garage Door Solutions with high-lift track.

In a commercial space like this, the doors can do much more than close an opening. The glass maintains visibility and natural light when they're down, while the high-lift configuration moves the sections up toward the ceiling when they're open, helping preserve usable space inside.

It's a really nice example of how the right garage door can become part of the building's design and the way the space functions!

Great work by Auburn Garage Door Solutions, and we're excited to see AlumaDoor become part of the next chapter at Two Ass Brewing Company. We'll raise a glass to that! 🍻

Set among the trees in La Honda, this garage already had a pretty incredible setting. The right door just needed to feel like it belonged there.

This 18’ x 11’ AlumaDoor full-view door does exactly that. Closed, the dark glass and aluminum frame reflect the surrounding landscape and give the structure a modern architectural finish. Then it opens, and the garage connects right back to the property around it.

It’s a good example of why we think the garage door should be considered part of the architecture…not simply something added at the end.

A closer look at the project we shared in our last video! Because these doors deserve a still frame, too.

Measuring 16×13 and 16×10, the two black glass AlumaDoors take up a substantial portion of this home’s exterior. On a project at this scale, the garage doors aren’t simply something added at the end; their proportions, finish and glass become part of the architecture itself.

Here, the black framing ties into the roofline, windows and exterior fixtures, giving the modern farmhouse a strong contemporary contrast while still feeling cohesive. Take a look at our previous post to see the full project in video!

Modern farmhouse doesn’t have to mean a traditional garage door!
We love how the black glass on this AlumaDoor installation picks up the dark trim throughout the home and adds a more contemporary edge to the classic white farmhouse exterior. It’s a great example of how the garage door can help pull the whole design together.
