Internal changes are an opportunity to revisit processes. I’ve been slowly working on this but taking the much needed opportunity to revisit:
- what a project requires in its proposal
- checklist for takeoffs and scopes I need to generate
- place to record scopes and necessary materials during plan review
- how I collect and record project info during PreCon
- polishing the Project Binder as a handoff btwn myself and the field crew

We spent most of the last 6 months rebuilding this folk Victorian in Beacon. The guys did an amazing job, dealing with some challenging scope and details. There was a ton of coordination and management work on my end. We gutted the house down to existing sheathing, rebuilt the whole porch, resheathed with ZIP R10, new Hardie siding with custom (field made) Boral trim and rainscreen. All new insulation in all cavities. We also built a 16x24 addition in the rear. Will share more detail and interiors. This house is now comfortable and will be ready for 100 more years!
