There are a few different ways to get a line up into a tree, and Marly has his own creative approach.

We jokingly call this one the “potato launcher,” but it’s a pretty awesome example of innovation in the field. He built a way to shoot his rope into the tree safely and efficiently, and honestly, it’s pretty cool to watch.

Brandt has been one of our biggest supporters from the beginning, and somewhere along the way, he became more than a client. He became a friend.

The last time we were working in his neighborhood, he came over and brought us lunch. Homemade, thoughtful, and packed with enough New Mexico chile heat to make sure none of us forgot it.

It is those small, generous moments that remind us why we love what we do. We are grateful for clients like Brandt who support us, cheer us on, feed us, and make this work feel even more connected to the community we serve.

We had the opportunity to visit a local farm, and this lily was too beautiful not to share.

Sometimes nature gives you a quiet little reminder to slow down and notice what’s growing around us. Trees, flowers, nests, gardens, backyards… there is always something alive and worth paying attention to.

At Climb It High, we believe the outdoors gives us more than adventure. It gives perspective, challenge, peace, and a reason to keep pushing ourselves. The least we can do is give that same care back.

Most people see a grub and think ew. 🤢😱

But this giant grub is actually a Western Hercules Beetle larva, an important part of the natural cycle.

These larvae live in rotting wood and rich soil where they help break down dead material and recycle nutrients back into the ground.

Before it becomes a horned beetle, it spends months underground doing the work that keeps ecosystems healthy.

Not pretty to everyone. Valuable to nature.
