We had the privilege of installing new roofing systems and new gutters for both of these beautiful homes. On the home to the left, we installed 61 squares of GAF Timberline HTZ in Pewter Gray. On the home to the right, we installed 48 squares of GAF Timberline HTZ in Weathered Wood.

Some roofing projects require more than simply replacing shingles. The architecture, drainage, and insurance process all have to be considered.

We completed this home a couple of years ago after working through a claim with Farmers Insurance, which can be a challenging carrier to navigate.

Ultimately, we were able to recover approximately $32,000 for the homeowner and complete a new roofing and gutter system that included:

• 54 squares of Owens Corning Duration® in Estate Gray
• New 6-inch gutters
• ShurFlo gutter guard system

The home had experienced previous leaks, along with areas where water needed to be properly redirected because of the architecture found throughout this neighborhood.

Those details matter.

A roofing system isn’t just about the shingles you see from the street. Understanding how water moves across the roof, how it drains, and how the different architectural details work together is critical to protecting the home long-term.

Most importantly, the homeowner was extremely happy with the finished result.

Some projects stand out because of the craftsmanship. Others stand out because of the fight it takes to get the homeowner what they truly deserve.

This Foxcroft project in one of South Charlotte’s premier neighborhoods was one of those jobs for us.

What started as a storm-related roof claim turned into a major restoration. After multiple insurance denials, we continued pushing, documenting, and advocating on the homeowner’s behalf — and ultimately recovered more than $207,000 for the project.

The completed scope included:

• 129 squares of GAF Slateline® in English Gray
• 6 squares of EPDM roofing with copper drip edge
• All new copper valleys
• New gutters and gutter guards
• Custom copper chimney caps
• Copper architectural details and custom roof accents

This was one of our favorite projects because it combined everything we love about high-end restoration work: a beautiful property, premium materials, custom copper work, and a finished result that matched the quality of the home.

The homeowners also trusted us with additional work inside and outside the property, including painting. What began with insurance-related repairs grew into a larger relationship.

That trust means everything to us.
