Eighteen years ago Robert Barbee joined our team as the controller of Augusta Homes. This week we celebrate him, his career and congratulate him on his well earned retirement. His personality stands as one of our biggest. One that will be impossible to replace.

It is bittersweet to see Robert and his family head into this next chapter of their lives. Our people are why we do what we do here at Augusta and Robert has been with us through so many of the major moments that have shaped our company. He stood resolute through the good times as well as those years that challenged us. No matter the situation he embodied the core values that Augusta was founded on. The various personalities that make up our team who spark those big smiles and provide tremendous camaraderie will find him impossible to replace. We look forward to celebrating his future personal milestones as we continue forward upon the incredible foundation he has built.

Those days ahead when we hear him arrive to the office or a job site in his red Chevy Nova will be ones we cherish. Thank you Robert. We You will always be part of the Augusta Homes family.

Today we closed a remodel of a home that we built 24 years prior. The same family that chose us all that time ago once again decided we were their Builder for this whole home update. In the last ten years we had looked at numerous other homes in the neighborhood to purchase with them and multiple earlier versions of this remodel. To say we are grateful for the families that believe in us and continue to would be an understatement. Families like this one are the reason why we are able to celebrate 27 consecutive years of business in Lake Norman. There is no greater compliment than returning to renovate a previously built home and this concludes our 7th in the last three years alone. THANK YOU to our homeowners who continue to choose us.
