“True-Coat Thursday”

Your finish is only as strong as its weakest link — don’t let mixing coatings be that link.

A full coating system is engineered to work together: primer, sealer, and topcoat formulated to bond as one unit, coat after coat. Swap in a product from a different line, and you’re gambling with adhesion, cure times, and chemical compatibility — even if every can says “compatible” on the label.

Mixed systems are where finishes fail: cracking, delamination, blushing, or a topcoat that never fully cures because the layer underneath wasn’t built to receive it.
